The Villagers of Jaw Jaw have to carry on with their daily lives in order to survive while also careing for tourist. in order to do that they had to change. this change is taking tourist with them to hunt and participate in cultural traditions.

Jaw Jaw village has been undertaken by tourism. a tourism company like Suriname dschungel provide tourism to villages such as Jaw Jaw. This can be in someways good and someways bad. The bad things would be that tourist will interfere with villagers jobs and cause confusion. tourists also have to be fed and put in a house. On the other side tourism means money. although this changes lifestyle, villagers are poor and are wanting money.

The jaw jaw people are like most small south american villages. They survive of what they hunt in the forest or in the river. Mostly eating off fish and small animals from the wild. They also set up farms inside clearings in the bush to grow fresh fruit and veg.

Jaw Jaw village is a small town that is found in the small country of Suriname. suriname is above brazil and is part of the amazon rainforest. Jaw Jaw village was named jaw jaw because right next to the village there is a river called jaw jaw river.

Climate, Rainfall and Landforms

The Amazon rainforest's rainfall per year is between 80 inches of water to about 400 inches of water. the climate of this zone is at an average of 27 degrees Celsius. Some landforms of the amazon include the Andes Mmountains, amazon basin and the Atacama desert.

The Amazon rainforest is one of or is the biggest rainforest in the world. stretching to almost the whole continent of south America, this rainforest covers the area of 5,500,000 square kilometers. the amazon rainforest crosses many, many countries. Brazil, Columbia, Peru and many others are part of the entire forest.
